Capitol Park RULES FOR EVENTS ON STATE PROPERTY - No decorations are to be hung, tacked, taped or in any other way to trees, shrubbery, fencing, or lamp posts on State property. - Weapons are not permitted on State property except as provided by law - Fire is not permitted on State property. - Trash is to be collected and grounds are to be left clean after the event. - Hazardous materials are not allowed on State property during any event. - Political Fundraising is prohibited in or on State property. - Signs, posters, banners shall be hand carried and not in any way affixed, fastened, or attached to the premises. All exhibits must be freestanding, and you may not drive stakes into the lawn or attach to poles or railings. - Vehicle parking is not permitted in Capitol Park without a permit. You may unload your car on N St, but you must park it elsewhere. - Operation and use of bicycles, roller skates/blades, and skateboards are prohibited on State property. - Sports activities are not permitted within Capitol Park. - Dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals, shall be on leash while on State property. These animals are prohibited inside state buildings. - Neither chalk nor any other scribing materials shall be applied to drives, walks, or lawns. - The release of balloons is not permitted in Capitol Park. - There shall be no alcohol on the premises.
